The Coscojero bit is designed to enhance control while providing a unique mouthpiece that produces a “clinking” sound, adding both a sensory and auditory element to its use. Featuring a ported mouthpiece that allows room for the horse’s tongue and relieving pressure on the bars. The port puts pressure on the palate offering more control. The shanks increase the bits leverage putting more pressure on the poll and curb chain. The mouth piece is made from blue sweet iron that, oxidizes easily, encourages salivation, helps bit acceptance, and is warm and sweet.
